Triumph Media can provide your company with techincal writing packages for your in house or poorly documented programs and utilties.

We can provide PDF (adobe portable document format) or CHM (Compiled Help Manual) format to give you a computer based solution for training or employee reference. 

We also offer bound versions of the materials if the documentation is over 250 pages in length. The manual are soft bound, published by Triumph Media and maintained / updated as need.  

This service is also good for employee manual. We use a templated system for new hire materials that includes up to date information for contact information, Human resources, Insurance, 401K information and benefits.   Depending on the size of your packet, these manual can be ring bound (plastic) or soft cover.

 

›› How it works

Once you have chosen your required package, you gather the materials needed to create the manual.

Employee Manuals

For employee manuals, a check list is provided and your documentation is provided to Triumph Media including an order of importance.

Our representative meets with your company to discuss the layout of the manual.  This can be done either on-site in person or via web-based chat such as SKYPE, Yahoo Instant Messenger or Remote Services Connection.

Once your format is determined, a proof is created and delievered via FEDEx or UPS for approval.  Your company reviews the information and requests any changes.  If required, the changes are made and a second proof is rendered.

Once the proof is approved, your manual is printed including a ISBN and copyright information and the requested number of copies is delivered.

The timeframe for completion once the materials are received is 2 or more weeks.

Technical Manuals

For the creation of a company specific technical manual, the process depends on the device or software that is to be processed.

For software, Triumph Media must be provide a single use licence and copy of the software.  The software is investigated and a manual is created to your company specifications. 

For Commercial software, we assure first that the manual doesn't exist.  For instance, we will not re-write the professional manuals for use of Adobe Photoshop.  The manuals available at local book sellers reflect years of research and hold copyrights that we will not infringe upon*

*note: Some exceptions to this rule are "dummies" types of manual dedicated to a specific need within a company.  For instance, a photographer may require only a tri-fold pamphlet to show new employees how to remove red eye from photographs. This would not warrent the purchase of the Adobe Photoshop Bible (retail 59.99) to perform this single task.

For in house developed software, training of the Triumph Media Staff on basic functionality of the program may be required.  This process is only to gain familarity to the way that YOUR company uses custom built solutions and usuallly takes under and hour with one of your skilled users.

Device manuals are based on the company usage policies of the specified device.
